The Cinematheque is an independent theater operating in downtown Vancouver dedicated to providing an essential cinema experience. It specializes in art films, documentaries and foreign pieces. With such a unique vision for a theater so close to the heart of the city, it’s current branding is boring, international and unoffensive at best. In this project Keegan Olson and Harrison Schell took on this problem and reconstructed the brand from top to bottom. What came of it was a full rebrand proposal; including all new graphics, colours, packaging, signage and communications.
